Following the successful launch of their first plant based protein bar and protein powder, Bodyhero have announced the launch of their latest product and first Ready-To-Drink protein shake, in Rich Chocolate flavour to match the rest of the range so far.
The addition of the Ready-To-Drink product adds a further convenient format to the already established range. Each Bodyhero product has been designed to deliver 20g of premium quality complete protein in every serving. The Ready-To-Drink shake continues this unique selling point, delivering 20g of Premium European Pea Protein isolate, in addition to 5g of gut healthy fibre from chicory root (providing 17% of your daily allowance in one serving), and only 151 calories per 330ml serving, with only 5g of sugar. Whilst the nutritional breakdown speaks for itself, the shake has been designed with taste first, and unlike most other plant-based protein shakes on the market, it is very low in calories, carbs, sugar and fat.
Furthermore, as with all Bodyhero products, uniquely, the Ready-To-Drink shakes are extremely allergen friendly, Informed Sport accredited, Vegan Society Registered and Heavy Metal tested too, for 100% piece of mind.

Bodyhero cartons are not only 100% recyclable, but they are also made from FSC certified raw material. Tetra Pak® leads the world in good packaging, working with non-GMO farmers in Brazil to create plant based “biocaps” derived from sugarcane, which uniquely are used on our cartons. This represents 5% of our carton; in-fact our whole pack is 100% recyclable and made with nearly 70% renewable material, the majority of which is paperboard.
Tetra Pak paperboard manufacture uses minimal fossil fuels and energy creating a very small carbon footprint with massive waste reduction. Furthermore, the shake’s outer boxes are also made from sustainable fully recyclable box board.
THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE BRAND
Bodyhero was created to challenge the conventional poor tasting, low quality, artificial products on the market, whilst being a force for good in nature. Talking of the reasons why he built the Bodyhero brand, Managing Director Andy Birch says:
“For most of my working life I’ve been in the health and fitness industry and have tried most of the protein supplements on the market. When I decided to move to a plant-based diet I was shocked to find that the plant-based protein products I was buying all tasted like dirt – and that this appeared to be the accepted taste experience for people not prepared to eat meat or dairy.
What’s more, I couldn’t find high quality plant-based protein products that delivered what I wanted nutritionally. They were mostly low in protein and fibre, high in sugar, and artificial. That didn’t sit well with the decisions I’d made to change my diet to one with health and environmental benefits.
