‘Veganuary’ Menu at Island Grill


Roast Cauliflower Steak, Caper and Raisin DressingNewYearNewYou… Kick start a healthy New Year and go green this January with the newly launched ‘Veganuary’ Menu at Royal Lancaster London’s restaurant, ‘Island Grill’.

Created by Executive Head Chef Daniel McGarey, the exclusive vegan menu is available from 6 until 31 January 2019. Whether you’re a dedicated vegan, or wish to adopt a greener diet, the vegan menu will be a treat for your taste buds.

The menu priced at £20 for two courses, or £22.50 for three courses starts with an appetising Beetroot Soup with Horseradish; Grilled Brassica’s with Chick Peas and Chilli; and a Baby Artichoke, Hazelnut and Beetroot Salad.  Guests can then indulge in a range of delicious main courses including Roast Cauliflower Steak with a Caper and Raisin Dressing; Quinoa and Wild Mushroom Dumplings with Mushroom Consommé; and Crisp Polenta with Winter Tomato Chutney with a Crisp Sage.  Finally, bring the menu to an indulgent close with either a Chocolate Brownie with Cranberry Sorbet; Plum Crumble with Coconut Ice Cream; or Spiced Pear Eton Mess.

It is set within the recently refurbished Royal Lancaster London which unveiled its brand new design following an £85 million renovation. The restaurant serves modern, locally-sourced British dishes with a focus on sustainability, and uses fresh, local ingredients that change with the seasons.
