General Description and User Experience
I was sent a few items to taste and review, firstly the chia pods in mango and blueberry, they come in individual pots 170g with a spoon so are a great idea for breakfast on the run and my youngest loved the little spoon! With just three ingredients of chia seed, mixed with coconut milk and real fruit they are both gluten and dairy free.  Chia seeds contain omega 3, fibre and protein and contain antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.  They were easy to find in our nearest Tesco Supermarket located near the milks.  I was also sent sachets of Oats & Chia in 3 flavours, Apple Spice, Banana & Mixed Berry, each sachet is 45g and easy to use by adding hot water of cold water and following the instructions to microwave, the porridge’s contain oats, sun-ripened chia blended with real fruit and virgin coconut oil with a little low GI coconut sugar to sweeten.  Again the oats & chia are suitable for vegans and containing chia this porridge makes a great start to the day.
They were both filling however we found the pods a little bland with a unusual consistency, when I made the porridge we used the microwave, when I added the cold water the oats didn’t look the same as when I normally make porridge however once cooked the consistency was good and the taste of the fruits was good.
Chia Pods are priced at £2.59 each.  Oats & Chia are priced at £5.00 for a box of 5.
Where you can buy
