TGF Rated Review: Annabelle Minerals

CARDAMON_MINTMineral cosmetics have been around for a while now but Polish cosmetics company Annabelle Minerals has recently brought their 100% organic products to the UK market and here at The Green Familia we were sent a selection of their mineral concealers to try out.

Applied in the same way as the ‘swirl, tap and buff’ brand that came to prominence in the mid-90s, the Annabelle Minerals products contain only four ingredients – Mica, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Oxide and Iron Oxide.

The make-up is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans and is suitable for every skin type.

The concealers came in a box containing a comprehensive range of miniatures in a huge variety of shades so that there is bound to be one that you will fall in love with. Choose from cream, fairest, fair and light in natural, beige, golden and sunny tones. The natural and beige shades are for cool skin shades, whilst the golden and sunny are more suited to warm skins.

They were so easy to apply; we tried several different colours and found that they were perfect to give a smooth overall coverage. Use as a primer before you put on your foundation or for specific areas and imperfections that need to be hidden. The Zinc Oxide in the concealer soothes inflammation, so for those of us who find it difficult to wear make-up when our skin is angry and red, or has a break-out of spots, these concealers are a god send.

Why did we love these concealers? Because, unlike other mineral products, they gave us a natural, healthy look without that chalky, grainy texture, and they are much lighter to wear on the skin and they don’t clog up the pores. Due to the lack of oils, the make-up stays put all day.
Check out the full range of make-up on their website: www.annabelleminerals.com

The range includes foundation, eye shadows, blushers and some quality brushes to apply your mineral make-up with.

If you have fallen out of love with mineral make-up, try Annabelle Minerals – they make mineral make-up sexy again!
