Oli & Grace set the benchmark for contemporary industrial style

Oli & Grace help you create an elegant, utilitarian dining room set-up through their new collection benches. Bring friends and family closer together, Oli & Grace’s natural wood benches work well combined with dining chairs for an ‘lived-in’ and informal dining room vibe.

The collection includes solid wood benches, lighter pieces in which hairpin legs take centre-stage, and benches and benches with a stylish iron cast base. The collection is entirely handmade, and crafted from sustainable woods. The composite of solid woods and cast iron give the benches a cool, contemporary-industrial feel, in-keeping the Oli & Grace house style. The benches, together with Oli & Grace’s dining tables and chairs, are perfect for rustic, country interiors, as well as chic urban spaces.

The stunning live-edge Freddie Bench is perfect for relaxed family dining. Handcrafted in India, the bench combes the natural acacia hardwood top with the classic Iron hair pin legs in a vintage grey finish. This contrast makes the bench perfect to suit a range of interior styles. The bench features an organic natural edge detail showing the natural beauty of the wood. All of the solid hardwood used in this bench is from a sustainable source, as a real wood product there are natural variances making each one unique.

The Alice Bench seats 3 – 4. For relaxed family dining and maximum seating capacity this solid hardwood bench with iron hairpin legs is a great addition to any dining room, family room or kitchen. The bench is finished in a silk lacquer to enhance the natural wood. The iron legs are painted in a vintage black finish. All of the solid hardwood used in this bench is from a sustainable source, as a real wood product there are natural variances in the product making each one unique.

Seating 3 – 4, the rustic Samuel Bench is the perfect addition to the Samuel table. The minimal style bench has been manufactured in solid mango, and stands on two solid wood column legs, one leg continuing through the surface to create a contrasting wood grain square detail on the top. The bench reflects the same quality as the Samuel table and is a contemporary yet timeless piece of furniture. Expect natural variances in the wood making each bench a true one off.

The contemporary Solomon Bench seats 2 quite comfortably. This occasional bench handcrafted in India combines the natural solid mango top with Iron framed legs in a black vintage paint finish. All of the woodwork is finished in a satin lacquer, enhancing the natural wood grain.

The Toby Bench has been hand crafted in India. The legs have been sand casted from iron and finished in a clear lacquer, a process which allows Oli & Grace to see the original scorch marks from pouring the molten steel into its cast. The bench top has been lovingly made by a craftsman using acacia wood and then finished in a white tinted lacquer which enhances each individual detail of the wood.

The acacia wood used in the making of Toby is from a sustainably source, and as a real wood product there are natural variances in each piece produced.

About Oli & Grace
After travelling the world designing and manufacturing stunning commercial interiors for retail stores, offices and restaurants, the Oli & Grace team wanted to translate their experience into the home market.
With busy lives and young families, they  wanted to create furniture that wasn’t mass produced, made from veneer and chipboard or overly expensive. Something different and individual that was unique to the owner and which didn’t require hours of assembly. They decided to commission a small collection, which would look good in any home and complement the individuality of the owner.

All Oli & Grace furniture has been selected or created to fulfil a few basic principles:

  • The design has to be simple yet classic, complementing the owner’s current lifestyle.
  • All wooden furniture is made from solid wood, which has been sourced from a sustainably managed forest.
  • To embrace the unique, natural variances in wood and to accentuate the textures and grains with our finishes – it has to stand up to the challenges of modern day family living.

At the heart of Oli & Grace is the desire to provide customers with individual pieces of sustainable furniture.
