kiv1Launched in Spring 2019 KIVULI Pet Accessories are a UK-based company that designs and makes unique handcrafted products for your pets; inspired by and handcrafted in Kenya and designed in Brighton, UK by the co-founders Jamie and Katie.

KIVULI Pet Accessories introduces the ‘Big Five Collection’, a beautiful selection of five-beaded patterns named after ‘The Big Five” Kenyan safari animals and the ‘Uchi Collection’, Naked in Swahili of un-beaded classic colours.

The Big Five Collection includes an easy to use durable and comfortable D-Shaped harness, S, M and L leads and matching collars. The collection comes in the following designs and colourways: Tembo  (Elephant), Kifaru (Rhino), Chui (Leopard), Nyati (Buffalo), Simba (Lion).

The Uchi Collection includes an easy to use durable and comfortable harness, and a beautifully beaded leather lead and collar and is available in Pink (Limited Edition), Navy, Beige and Black.

All our products are of exceptional design and craftsmanship, made from the highest quality Kenyan leathers, recycled brass, intricate stitching with colourful beaded designs. Rivets are also used as part of the designs for strength and durability. 95% of materials are sourced by the team in Kenya.
As part of the team at KIVULI Pet Accessories , we introduce Isabell who not only runs the workshop in Mihango, Nairobi, Kenya, but has also recently been voted one of the top leather makers in Kenya.

KIVULI has a long-term vision for the brand, with an aim to continue to grow and expand not only in the UK but also with Isabell and the team in Minhango and continue to champion Afrocentric makers and creators and brilliant British design.

With the environment at its core, KIVULI has strong ethics and morals, and with plastic bags banned in Kenya, all products arrive into the UK plastic-free and are packaged for customers  in canvas bags with recycled paper and packaging. We also limited our air freight to once a year and off set our carbon by investing in offsetting projects in the UK.

KIVULI is also a corporate sponsor to the Kenyan Society for The Protection and Care of Animals.
