So a good friend of mine posted on Facebook at the weekend about this fab new company that had just launched eco-friendly wrapping paper. Now I know this is a bug bear for many of our readers. So I would like to introduce you to Curlicue.
All Curlicue wrapping paper is printed on uncoated, 100% recycled paper with vegetable-based ink using waterless and chemical free processes. They print in the UK to maintain a low carbon footprint, which is why they are only shipping to the UK too.
They chose to launch with a ‘Happy Birthday’ print and a ‘Celebrate’ print to keep the appeal as broad as possible, and they went with bright inclusive colours that can be used for anyone even thinking long and hard about the colour of the liquid in the ‘Celebrate’ print so that it could look like any drink rather than something overtly alcoholic. They are retailing a single sheet at £1.95 to make sure it’s affordable as that was really important to them, and with the bundles of sheets it’s even cheaper at £8.95 for 5 sheets, £16.95 for 10 sheets. They’ve also set up Mix & Match bundles of 10 or 20 sheets; £16.95 for 10 sheets and £29.95 for 20 sheets.
So give them a try and let us know how you get on with the paper, which looks good and is an eco-friendly alternative.
